pgloader software package provides loads flat data files into PostgreSQL, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pgloader
pgloader is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pgloader package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pgloader *
You will get with pgloader package name, version, architecture and description in a table
